Smooth is an artist of unbelievable talent. He has a flow that rides a beat to perfection and delivers a vigorous punch to the statements that he makes in his lyrics. Smooth arrived on the Milwaukee music scene the summer of 1997. Smooth started his pursuit in a high school talent show, where he began to be recognized as a talented rapper. Smooth would take part in local festival performances ranging from Juneteenth to African World Festival. In the spring of 2001 he released his first self entitled cd "Smooth Da Thugg." He sold his cd out of the trunk of his car and was able to experience minor success with sales of an accumulative total of 500 units sold. This fueled Smooth's passion for his talent and he worked harder at making his dream a reality.
In 2002 Smooth Da Thugg signed with a local record label (J.M.O.B. Records) and released a cd single "U All I Want." The song begin to pick up a buzz on the street and once again Smooth light began to shine. Unfortunately when the light began to shine for Smooth Da Thugg, issues and problems with the companies direction caused Smooth to leave the company. This resulted in Smooth pursuing his career once again on his own. In 2003 Smooth career made a turn for the good. Smooth joined together with local rap artist Promiss and Sea Note to form a group name "Triple Threat." As Triple Threat , Smooth and his new found partners began working with local producers to create the new sounds of "Triple Threat." In the fall of 2003, the group decided to continue to work together as a unit, but decided to do separate projects. A new chapter in Smooth's career started. The group was introduced to Michael Wright, Sr. (Smooth Style Entertainment). From day one, after signing to Smooth Style (artist management), they knew that their career would now have direction. Smooth began working on his new project and since has been heating up the stage from Milwaukee to Chicago in venues of 350 plus capacity. Smooth Da Thugg is currently preparing for his 3rd and new release, "Smooth Style presents .....Smooth." |

Born Jamari Walker; later known as Mr. 33 Instruments and now JamariSoul, was born in Atlanta, GA to a very musical inclined family. This incredibly talented young crooner has a vocal gift of old school talent with a new school presences. JamariSoul originally received the name Mr. 33 Instruments because his thirst to learn many instruments. His passion for music has always been great since his early youth. He feed that passion through learning each instrument he touched. When he became accomplished at one instrument, he just took on the challenge to learn a new one. All of this was great, then he used his God given instrument and blew everyone away. JamariSoul open his mouth and the most melodic sound embraced the room. Being such a humbled soul, he didn’t think much of it. The more he continued to sing, the reaction confirmed to him and others that he was indeed a natural when it came to his talents. JamariSoul describes his style as a Jazzy R&B Soul which encompass the musician in him and his Jazzy/Neo-Soul sound. JamariSoul advised that he loves creating music that touch and moves people. When ask of some instruments he’s learned to play, he advised: Piano/keyboard, Drums, Alto & Tenor Sax, Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar (Lead & Rhythm), Bass Guitar, Timpani, Snare, Xylophone, Marimba, Vibraphone, Bass Drum, Bongos/Conga/Timbales, Djembe, Bell Tree, Cabasa, Claves, Cymbals, Glockenspiel, Slapstick, Kalimba, Chime Tree, Rain Stick, Sand Blocks, Jam Blocks, Temple Blocks to name a few. JamariSoul keeps three words in his heart when it comes to his mission to reach his destiny. His Commitment to his craft and gift. His Perseverance to overcome any and all obstacles that he may face. His passion for his Music. JamariSoul goal is to have his music reach people around the world and hear “And the Grammy goes to….. JamariSoul!” When asked how would you know you’ve reached your dream? JamariSoul stated “Music has always been my passion and when I get the opportunity to pursue it and be successful in making it my career, then that is when my dream has become true for me.”
